Let’s break barriers to fight Covid-19 together
Financing Opportunities
The Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science in cooperation with the NWO initiated a EUR 27 million budget to support (scientific) research in relation to COVID-19 and the potential implications of this pandemic.
In short, the program has three focus areas:
- Predictive diagnostics and treatment
Therapy; Diagnosis of contamination; Risk analysis and forecasting; Virus, immunity, immune response and pathogenesis - Care and prevention
Organisation of care and prevention, care and prevention for vulnerable citizens; Transmission and epidemiology - Societal dynamics
Especially in the first two focus areas there is a potential link with research being / or to be conducted by your venture in cooperation with research organisations / (Academic) hospitals.
Per project a maximum of EUR 500,000 can be awarded for a maximum project duration of 24 months.
The deadline to submit project ideas for this application round is approaching rapidly: Thursday 14th May 2020 at 14:00.
